My husband and I remodeled our lake cabin into a home for year round living in 2004. The cabin had 4 bedrooms and the septic system was 25 years old. Our new home still had 4 bedrooms, so we were not required to update the septic system. We soon found out that living in a home year round made more demands on a septic system than a weekend cabin. After experiencing some backups, NGES determined that a new drain field would be necessary to handle the increased volume of water. Jesse worked closely with the Rabun County Health Dept to obtain necessary permits, which required moving the drain field to the back of our property. The folks at NGES are honest and easy to work with. We will continue to call on them for our septic needs.

Thanks again, Doug and Kathleen Patterson We just developed a major backup in our septic system, with stopped-up bathtub drains, and toilets that were unable to be used. We called North Georgia Environmental Services yesterday afternoon, and they came within three hours. They located our tank, dug appropriately, and unclogged the blockage. They charged a fair rate for their services. Additionally, the owner, Mike, was adamant about maintaining social distancing in interacting with us while repairing our septic system. With all of the shelter-in-place guidelines and concerns at this time, we appreciate his concerns. We highly recommend Mike and North Georgia Environmental Service.
