Manhole Rehabilitation
Manhole problems can be caused by a number of factors, including attack from
acid and corrosive gases, infiltration, and structural fatigue. While there
are a number of different solutions to fixing these problems, there are only
a few that are able to address all manhole problems. When infiltration and
ground water are problems your solutions become limited.
There is now a method of that can effectively rehabilitate manholes and other
sanitary sewer structures such as wet wells and lift stations. This is done
with SprayWall, a spray=applied, Cured-in-place (CIP) manhole process. This
process provides a fast, one-step, long-term solution to all of these problems.
The SprayWall process result is a rigid, durable, monolithic, corrosion-resistant,
“manhole-within-a-manhole” that is structurally designed to withstand
hydrostatic pressure from ground water.
Cured-in-place pipe rehabilitation is a proven method or design. This design
has been used worldwide on millions of feet of pipe. The use of SprayWall
for manholes has been used since 1992 and has been installed in thousands
of manholes throughout the world. To this date there has been no design
failure reported.
